Learning to ride

a bike!

Bill's boss gave us a bike for Aiden. This weekend he took it out to try. After a few laps down the block, Aiden was figuring out how to peddle.

One Month at a Time - Jan

In attempts to keep doing a little digi, I'm doing a monthly review layout based on a series and templates from Tami at Get It Scrapped! I really want to keep up with this for the year and digital will make that easier. Not to mention a reason to have all the digital products. I also hope that this project and my 12 on the 12th will help me in capturing everyday life in the now(not trying to remember stories from a year or more ago) and have 2011 documented at the end of the year.

Journaling: January was a busy month. Bill and I celebrated 12 yrs. We had a fun trip to the zoo to see the new Rhinos and Chimps. A trip to Space Center Houston which had Lego castles. I made a meal for a new mom, hosted this month's scrapbooking night and went to the Junkie's garage sale. Bill got some golf in.

More Birthday Fun

More gifts - Star Wars!

On the 8th we had a fun morning planned. We went back to Chuck E Cheese to use up more tokens and turn in all our tickets. The place was empty.

 

We also went to Toys R Us to spend Aiden's $3 birthday club money. Aiden got a crown and the boys both got balloons. Aiden pick out a Dinosaur Train toy.

We then had lunch with Daddy, Grandpa and Grandma J. and got to use Darth Vader again.

On Wed, Aiden celebrated at school. He went up front for Chapel and had treats for his classmates.

Here are a few pictures of the mini album from Aiden’s Birthday party last year. I was trying to keep it simple and repeated the design throughout.


I love how this turned out. This is my first time using the divided page to include extra pictures. Love my 3 ringed albums so I can do this. Now I’m so so afraid to tackle those holiday pictures. :)

Scrapping goodies

My LSS (local scrapbook store) had their garage sale last weekend. This is were crafters can rent table space to sell unwanted items and earn store credit. I did pretty good this year.

Everything that I came home with. Lots of unopened items!

This was all in one bag for $13. My highest priced item and best deal. I think there are only one or two stickers missing and everything in here would add up to way more then 13. Also it is very boy!

 I really love finding things that I want to try out but wouldn't ever pay full price for since I don't know how well I'll use or like it.

Other news on the crafting front...
I'm working on a mini album from Aiden's Birthday party last year. I'm very close to finishing it, yeah! Planning this years really help modivate me to get started. I hope to get some pictures up soon. I've also been working on some holiday layouts from this year and last year and will share one of those soon.
