Welcome and Layout

Welcome to my blog!

I think that this will be a great way to make regular updates and help me keep track of my journaling.

Speaking of journaling, I'm taking two online classes that focus on journaling for scrapbooks through September so maybe that will help. Anyway, here is one of my assignments that I finished last night.

Journaling:
I am so proud of you, Aiden. You have had to make a lot of transitions, in a fairly short amount of time, with Logan coming into our lives. Our goal was to move you into the other bedroom and into the twin bed so we would have the nursery and crib for Logan. We started in early January by changing the crib to a toddler bed. You figured out how to climb in and out right away and took to the independence immediately. Within a week or so you didn't want Daddy or me coming to get you when you woke up in the mornings. You liked getting out on your own and coming to find us. Even when you woke up upset and crying you didn’t want us to come into your room. At the end of January we were ready to move you into your new room. You were quite excited by the moving of furniture between rooms and had to help. We made up the twin bed in your new sheet set and you played on it with your animals. At first you went to the wrong room a few times forgetting you had a new one, but didn’t take long to adjust. In May we tried your first night sleeping in the twin bed. We kept the toddler bed set up for a while, just in case. You had a hard time falling asleep a couple nights complaining that the bed was “too big” but managed with our encouragement. That switch took a little longer for you to adjust to but you’re now a pro.
