Ten Things

I'm going to share 10 layouts as part of Shimelle's 10 Things.

These first two were really quick to put together since I had the journaling already. I have a small journal that I've been writing  notes on what the boys are doing. For both of these I just took it as is and added pictures of them at that age. Done!

These next two were for NSD (National Scrapbook Day) Challenges on BPC and both digital.
The first was something that had been on my mind to scrap and the sketch that the layout is built around worked perfect for the pictures. Being digital also made it easy to pull the pictures needed and use them right away...no waiting for them to be printed.

This was a template that I added pictures to and took my colors from a piece of Fall patterned paper What makes it special? Well besides being very cute boys and great quote, it won!!! Each challenge had a random drawing from entries and I won one of the prize packs.

This was a layout kit I got from my LSS (local scrapbook store). I got it around our moving time so it worked great to showcase pictures of our old house while it was all pretty for selling.

The rest represent what I worked on at my scrap retreat and sketches from the Double Take class at PBC I took last month.

This is one of the 12 on the Twelve layouts I did at the retreat. I really liked how the papers worked on this one. I was very happy to get 5 of the 6 months left mostly done there and then finish them all shortly after. Love having a completed project.

This is one of the Christmas layouts I worked on at the retreat and used a class sketch. I also had help with the embellishments...lots of fun scraping with others.

These are from class sketches I did last month.
This was fun, pulling all these pictures on one page.

I've only done a couple grid layouts but really like them. Should do more!

OK, The more I look at this one the more the 2 green leaves are bothering me. I think that I will have to go see if I can tweak one so that they are not pointing out the same direction.  I was working on my layering with this one.
