Fall

While on our road trip for Thanksgiving, the boys were able to experience true Fall...you know, when the leaves change color and then fall off the trees.

Camping

Some pictures from our camping trip this past weekend.
It was Logan's first camping trip. He was up a few times the first night but then did good the second.

Aiden holding a caterpillar...he wanted to "hunt for bugs" while we were camping.

Playing with friends - there were six families of 4 on this trip, so lots of friends.

Roasting marshmallows for smores.

Playing in dirt!

The boys had a great time. Aiden was wondering when we would be going again before we were even out of the park. He is taking a few pictures of the trip to school tomorrow for show-in-tell.

Pumpkin Patch

Fun at the patch:

I just love how this picture turned out.

Aiden liked looking around and wanted several pumpkins. I had to keep telling him that I was only buying a few. He liked the bumpy ones (his class all felt bumpy ones at school)
Logan was really into the small ones. He had the best time trying to stack them on a shelf display...not happy that he couldn't reach the top shelf. He didn't know what to make of the straw. Aiden didn't get to wild with it either.

I took Logan to the patch at Aiden's school the week before after dropping Aiden off. He was going all around looking at the pumpkins, trying to pick them up. This was his first real experience in the patch.

It's Not Everyday...

that we get to see a hawk eat it's lunch!

This hawk is just across the street from our driveway. I came home from an appointmentt and saw it after getting out of my car. I took a quick shot with my little camera but it was just a dot in the picture so I ran in the house, yelled for Bill to come look while grabbing the good camera and higher zoom lens. Definitely not an everyday thing.

flew up in the tree with it's lunch and we couldn't see it anymore.

Lately

the boys have been into games and puzzles.

We moved an old computer into Aiden's room and got him a preschool learning game. He loves to play it and is getting really good with the mouse.

Logan has discovered puzzles and loves them. He especially like the "fishing" one. He will walk into Aiden's room pull open the drawer under the bed and pull them out.
