Swim and shots

Aiden had his first swim lesson on Tuesday. He did absolutely wonderful! He even got his face in the water briefly toward the end of his lesson. He didn't like it too much but didn't fuss. He liked the songs and playing with the toys and put up with the swimming part. These are 30 min lessons twice a week for four weeks then we'll just be doing once a week.
Pre swim fun.
In the water

Logan was in for his shots and exam today. He did really well too.

He is now 14 lb 9 oz and 25.3 in. That puts him at 6.21% and 13%, which is fine for him. His a healthy little boy.

He's starting to sit up on his own holding himself up with his hands.

Right now

Right now Aiden and Logan are playing together as I type.
Right now Aiden has a cold but otherwise doing well. Loves his dinosaurs.
Right now Logan is fascinated with my hair and tries to grab it and put in his mouth. He is also rolling all over the place and aguing all the time.
Right now Aiden is playing with the mouse and being a little distracting.
Right now we need to get ready to leave to pay for Aiden’s swimming lessons.
Right now I have lots of writing projects that I want to work on.
Right now the boys are waking up at night more often then mom and dad would like.

This week

Two weeks is really not that bad...are you ready...

Bill was offered tickets to the Astros game on the 6th and went with his father. I opted out since I would have had to take Logan with. I was really glad Bill was able to go, able to do one of those before kids activities. BTW the Astros won!

Aiden out playing in the sprinkler and pool. It's very much still summer here. It's starting to get to the nice summer weather.

Aiden is really loving preschool. This is a poster about him that will be displayed outside his classroom in rotation with the ones from the other students.

Our little Viking fans!
Football season is here.

Aiden playing with friend Ben.

Great new toy...stroller box.

Next week Logan goes in for his 6 month check-up and Aiden starts swim lessons.

This week

This week:
Mon - Aiden had his first day of school and it went great.

Tue - Aiden had a Dr appt and ended up getting a flu shot. We went to McDonald's for lunch so he could go down the slide. Bill worked late that night but made it home to read Aiden his bedtime story. At the Dr's, Aiden weighed in at 34lbs and a quick check on Logan was 14lbs.

Wed - Aiden was sick in the morning and missed school. Logan spit-up all over my shirt. Aiden tripped and his cheek grazed a shelf corner at Target. It didn't bleed but he has a nice bruise. Bill had to be to work early and worked a little late. He had volleyball, won one, lost one.

Thur - Bill went into work early again and Logan woke up early. Aiden was really tired and cranky throughout the day only a little better after his nap. My scrapbooking class started(online) and we checked out a place for swim lessons for Aiden. The boys had playgroup in the afternoon and I had a much needed mom's night out and went to see The Time traveler's Wife (great book, great movie) with the girls.

Fri - The boys and I did a mall walk and lunch with friends in the morning. After dinner we all went for a walk around the block. The weather has been fairly decent lately. Now the boys are sleeping and Bill and I are relaxing.

First day of School

Yesterday was Aiden's first day of preschool. He did great! No tears from him or myself.

He went right in and started playing. At the end of the day he was happy to see me and showed me an apple stamp on his hand.
